Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave was established in 1917. Today it houses some pretty fascinating stuff - photos and memorabilia from the Wild West Show years, Native American artifacts, period firearms and equipment, and interactive kid's exhibits. Buffalo Bills Museum and Grave has many events throughout the year.
One of the most popular is the reenactment of his burial- - Complete with the ceremonial parade up the Lariat Loop Trail, the grieving bride and Cavalry salute. Each year draws a larger and larger audience to remember this great man.
The Buffalo Bill Museum features over 3000 sq. feet. of exhibit space focusing on the life, times, and legacy of William "Buffalo Bill”.
The Buffalo Bill Memorial Park was ranked by the Denver Post as one of the top five tourist attractions in the Denver metro area for 1996 and proclaimed by West word (Denver's News and Arts Weekly) to have the best view from a coffee shop in 1989.
