Home of many sports

Denver, Colorado is home of many teams' sports.  Denver has four major sports which include the Denver "Broncos", "Rockies", "Avalanche" and the famous Denver "Nuggets". The Denver Broncos of National Football League (NFL) has advanced 6 times to the Super Bowl and have won back to back in year 1998 and 1999. The "Rockies", Denver's baseball team was established in 1993 and its name taken from Rocky Mountains. They have won their first National League Pennant in 2007 season. The Colorado Avalanche of National Hockey League (NHL) was originally founded in Quebec and has been playing at Pepsi Center. They have won Stanley Cups in year 1996 and 2001. The Denver Nuggets of National Basketball Association (NBA), are the pro basketball team.  The Basketball Hall of Famers are Alex English, Dan Issel and David Thompson.

Professional teams' Home Arena

Currently the home arena of both Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets is the Pepsi Center also known as "The Can". This is also being used as a concert venue located in Denver, Colorado. This arena was broke down November of 1997 and it was re-opened October of 1999. It can accommodate a capacity of 19,309 audiences for basketball venue and a capacity of 18,007 audience for hockey venue and 17,417 for football venue.
