Lola offers an array of traditionally prepared dishes - from Ceviches and Smoked Duck Gorditas, to Whole Grilled Fish and Carne Asada smothered in dark molé. Lola is perfect for a pre or post DU sporting event or show and for Sunday brunch where you can sip bloody marys made tableside or tropical fruit mimosas al fresca on Lola's patio terrace. Colorful pillar candles on high ledges create a warm glow throughout this casual, contemporary spot. Glass shelves stocked with nearly 90 brands of tequila, a frosty, green- lit bar, pale- wood tables and chrome stools make up the barroom.

The modern Mexican cuisine consists mostly of seafood, served with inventive chili sauces. Maize cakes are flash- fried, topped with garlicky shrimp and surrounded by a nutty- flavored huitlacoche sauce, derived from mushrooms grown on corn.
