Mel's Restaurant and Bar

It has been hailed by both Esquire and Gourmet magazine for providing a fine dining experience. It offers some of Denver's best cuisine in a casual and friendly atmosphere.

Mel's Restaurant and Bar is the culmination of Mel and Janie's dream to open a bar. Mel and Janie had lived in England all their lives. In 1969, they came to Provence and started a company called Masterwines and began selling French wine in the USA.

Starters include a citrus- sy crab salad, foie gras plated with grilled figs and red onion jam, and the popular skilleted mussels sizzling in butter. You can try the roasted duck breast, bolstered by a smooth green chile and crowned with a perfectly poached duck egg. It provides some of the best wines in the world.

Pianist and singer Mark Pressey brings you your favorite tunes and old classics.
