Forbidden broadway is a theatre in Old Town, located in the heart of San Diego Historic Park. One can experience wonderful accommodation and great shopping sites near the theatre. The hilarious legendary comic salute to Broadway runs for weeks only from March 30th through June 11th. Performances are Tues- Thurs 7:30pm, Fri 8pm, Sat 5pm & 8pm, with two matinees weekly Wed 2pm & Sun 3pm.

The latest edition of Forbidden Broadway is- special victims unit which is a comic salute to Broadway. The theatre showcases heinous crimes committed against American theatre scene over past few years.

Forbidden Broadway currently stars Jerry Christakos, Donna English, Jeanne Montano and Jared Bradshaw with David Caldwell on piano.
Created, written and co- directed by Alessandrini, the creative team also includes Phillip George (co- director), Alvin Colt (costume designer), Megan K. Halpern (set designer) and Marc Janowitz (lighting designer).

This edition of Forbidden Broadway pokes fun at such Broadway shows as Wicked, Avenue Q, Movin' Out, All Shook Up, Good Vibrations and Mamma Mia!. The show won the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Best Musical Revue.
