Colorado's signature cultural event, The cherry festival celebrates the works of 200 international artists each year in this international juried festival and has entertained people down the ages.
Known as one of the most competitive events of its type in the country, it is a Fourth of July weekend tradition of Denver introducing a rare opportunity to meet and talk with international artists, delicious cuisine, entertain kids with creative activities and visit special exhibits, bringing a global art collection right in your own backyard.
You can preview and celebrate the visual arts from painting and drawing to funky jewelry and eclectic sculpture, experience artist demonstrations, live music, dance, magic, puppetry shows and performing artists in style, that have never before been seen in Denver.
The 2006 Arts Festival features 214 exhibitors, including 12 artistic award winners from the 2006 show including air- conditioned exhibit of work by illustrator, David Diaz capturing the interest of all ages while celebrating this grand festival.
Hours: Saturday, July 1, 2006, 10am – 8pm; Sunday, July 2, 2006, 10am – 8pm; Monday, July 3, 2006, 10am – 6pm.
