Denver Finds Olympic Bids Snubbed

Denver has the dubious distinction of being the sole city in the world to have been granted the honor of hosting an Olympiad and outrightly rejected it. This is why Denver has found its succeeding bids to host the Games snubbed in favor of other cities.

Still, in hindsight, the rejection of the Olympiad was based on environmental issues held by alarmed Denver residents. After all, Denver is largely an agriculture-based community in Colorado.
