Located in the heart of Lower Downtown, The Wynkoop Brewing Company, occupying one of the Denver's oldest buildings, Colorado's famed oldest brew pub, was founded in 1988, housed in the glorious J. S. Brown Mercantile Building, most impressive of its time with hardwood floors, thick timber pillars and pressed tin ceilings.

Introducing itself with the ground floorthe company's pub is a family- friendly dining room with a menu of traditional pub grub and American- regional favorites. Upstairs is a classy, often crowded pool hall with 22 tables considered by many to be the city's most elegant pool hall., in the basement, the Impulse Theater group presents wickedly funny improv to sold- out audiences. This is as "Denver" as it gets.

The kitchen serves a variety of pub fare, including shepherd's pie, beer braised pot roast and a Portobello mushroom sandwich in lunch & dinner menu featuring favorites such as Denver Cut Elk Medallions, and Fish and Chips. and desserts available all the time.

Hours : 11 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. ; Kitchen Open: until 11:00 M- Th, Midnight on Fri/Sat and 10:00 Sundays.
